This intelligent communication module features its own processor, ensuring that protocol processing does not impact the PLC cycle time. It provides up to 244 input and 244 output bytes (combined total limited to 400 bytes) and supports data rates up to 12 Mbit/s. The isolated RS-485 interface ensures robust signal integrity. With support for up to 124 PROFIBUS slaves (30 without repeater), the card is fully PNO-certified for compliance with EN 50170, ensuring interoperability with other PROFIBUS devices.
