The Moeller ZMR-6-PKZ2 is a motor protector trip block designed for integration with PKZ2 motor protective devices. It offers adjustable thermal protection in the 4–6A range and magnetic trip protection from 50–80A, providing reliable motor circuit protection based on the motor’s full load current (FLC). Supporting 3-phase motors up to 1.5 HP at 230V and 3 HP at 460V, this unit mimics the functionality of an overload relay by using internal auxiliary contacts to disconnect the contactor coil during overloads. Additional features include a HAND/AUTO reset switch, ambient temperature compensation, phase failure sensitivity, and tamper-proof setting covers. It is not compatible with U/A voltage trips or RE/RS remote control drives. Certified to UL and CSA standards.
