The Moeller ZMR-4-PKZ2 is a motor protector trip block for use with PKZ2 motor protection breakers, providing coordinated protection with adjustable thermal and magnetic trip settings. It features a thermal trip range of 2.4–4A and a magnetic trip range of 35–55A, allowing fine-tuned protection in accordance with the motor’s full load current (FLC). This model supports 3-phase motors up to 1 HP at 230V and 2 HP at 460V. It operates similarly to an overload relay by using auxiliary contacts to disconnect the contactor during overload conditions. Key features include a HAND/AUTO reset switch, phase failure sensitivity, ambient temperature compensation, and tamper-proof setting covers. The unit is UL and CSA certified, and is not compatible with U/A voltage trips or RE/RS remote drive accessories.
