The Moeller ZMR-25-PKZ2 is a high-capacity motor protector trip block designed for use with PKZ2 motor protection devices. It offers an adjustable thermal trip range of 16–27A and magnetic trip protection from 200–350A, making it suitable for larger motors. This unit supports 3-phase motors rated up to 7.5 HP at 230V and 20 HP at 460V. It functions similarly to an overload relay by using auxiliary contacts to de-energize the contactor coil in an overload event, while providing short-circuit protection via magnetic trip operation. Key features include a HAND/AUTO reset switch, ambient temperature compensation, phase failure sensitivity, and tamper-proof covers to protect the trip settings. UL and CSA certified. The unit is not compatible with U/A voltage trips or RE/RS remote control drives.
