The Moeller ZMR-2.4-PKZ2 is a motor protector trip block designed for use with PKZ2 motor protection devices. It features an adjustable thermal trip range of 1.6–2.4A and magnetic trip settings from 20–35A, allowing alignment with the motor’s full load current (FLC). This unit supports 3-phase motors rated up to 1/2 HP at 230V and 1 HP at 460V. Designed to mimic the function of an overload relay, it uses auxiliary contacts to disconnect the contactor during overloads, while the magnetic trip protects against short circuits. Additional features include ambient temperature compensation, phase failure sensitivity, and tamper-proof covers over adjustment dials. It also includes a HAND/AUTO reset switch and cannot be used with U/A voltage trips or RE/RS remote control drives. UL and CSA certified.
