The Moeller ZMR-16-PKZ2 is a high-capacity motor protector trip block designed for use with PKZ2 motor protective devices. With an adjustable thermal trip range of 10–16A and magnetic trip settings from 130–220A, it offers robust protection tailored to the motor’s full load current (FLC). This unit supports 3-phase motors rated up to 5 HP at 230V and 10 HP at 460V. It functions similarly to an overload relay by using internal auxiliary contacts to de-energize the contactor coil during overloads. Short circuit conditions are handled via magnetic trip, just like a standard ZM module. The ZMR-16-PKZ2 features a HAND/AUTO reset switch, ambient compensation, phase failure sensitivity, and tamper-proof covers to secure the settings. UL and CSA certified. Not compatible with U/A voltage trips or RE/RS remote drive modules.
