The Moeller ZM-1-PKZ2 is a motor protector trip block designed for use with the PKZ2 motor protection system. It offers an adjustable thermal protection range of 0.6 – 1 A and a magnetic trip setting range of 8 – 14 A, making it suitable for motors with a full load current (FLC) that falls within this range. The unit provides reliable overload and short circuit protection, with built-in ambient compensation and phase failure sensitivity for enhanced performance. Tamper-proof covers protect thermal and magnetic settings, and a coding accessory ensures the correct module is used for the corresponding motor. It is UL and CSA certified and rated for motors up to 1/2 HP at 230V in 3-phase applications.
