The Eaton S811+V85N3S is an intelligent S811+ series soft starter rated at 850 amps and designed for three-phase motors in Delta (3-lead) configurations. Built on a V-frame and rated NEMA 0, this compact unit delivers advanced motor control with a small footprint, making it ideal for retrofits of existing motor control centers, wye-delta starters, and across-the-line starters.
The soft starter operates within a 200–600 V range at 47–63 Hz and utilizes a 24 V power supply. It supports communication via Modbus RTU and features an LCD display with a digital interface module for enhanced monitoring and configuration. The unit accommodates 1–2 conductors sized from #2/0 AWG to 500 kcmil. With built-in overload protection (12–1000 A range) and an integrated run bypass contactor, installation and setup are streamlined while providing advanced motor protection. The S811+ supports motors from fractional horsepower up to 1000 amps steady-state current.
