The Moeller PKZM0-4/SP is a 3-phase thermal magnetic manual motor protector that combines overload and short-circuit protection in a single compact device. It features an adjustable thermal range of 2.5–4 A and a magnetic trip setting of 56 A. With a UL/CSA horsepower rating of 1 HP at 230 V and 2 HP at 460 V, this device ensures reliable performance across a wide range of applications. As a UL-listed and CSA-certified Type E self-protected combination controller, it provides overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions without the need for additional fuses or breakers. Approved for group installations under NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206, the PKZM0-4/SP reduces panel space and cost. It can also be combined with magnetic contactors to enable remote operation and is suitable for use as a Type E starter in grounded Wye power systems above 240 V.
