The Moeller PKZM0-20 is a heavy-duty manual motor protector designed to deliver overload and short-circuit protection for motors. It provides an adjustable thermal range of 16–20A and a magnetic trip response of 280A, ensuring precise coordination with motor full load currents. With a short-circuit interrupting capacity of 10kA at 600V AC, the PKZM0-20 can be used with protective fuses rated up to 150A or breakers up to 125A. Suitable for motors up to 5 HP at 230V and 10 HP at 460V, this unit is UL listed and CSA certified. Approved for group installations under NEC 430-53 and CEC Part 1, Rule 28-206, it eliminates the need for individual protective devices, reducing cost and space in industrial control panels.
