It features an adjustable thermal range of 1.6–2.5 A and a magnetic trip setting of 35 A. With a UL/CSA motor horsepower rating of 0.5 HP at 230 V and 1 HP at 460 V, this device ensures reliable performance across various motor applications. UL-listed and CSA-certified as a Type E self-protected combination controller, it integrates overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and control functions in one unit, removing the need for separate protective devices. Additionally, the PKZM0-2.5/SP is marked “Suitable for group installations” under NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206, helping reduce costs and space requirements in control panels. It can also be paired with contactors for remote operation and is suitable as a Type E starter for grounded Wye systems above 240 V.
