The Moeller PKZM0-16/AK is a manual motor protector designed to protect motors from overloads and short circuits. It offers an adjustable thermal range of 10–16 A with a magnetic trip response of 224 A, ensuring accurate protection aligned with motor full load current ratings. With a short circuit current rating of 10 kA at 600 V AC, and rated for fuses up to 150 A or breakers up to 125 A, it provides strong and reliable circuit protection. The PKZM0-16/AK is rated at 5 HP for 230 V systems and 10 HP for 460 V systems. UL listed and CSA certified, this protector supports group installations under NEC 430-53 and CEC rule 28-206, reducing the need for separate motor branch protection devices and saving cost and panel space.
