The Moeller PKZM0-0.63/SP is a 3-phase thermal magnetic manual motor protector designed to provide comprehensive overload and short-circuit protection for motors and branch circuits. It offers an adjustable thermal range of 0.4–0.63 A and a magnetic trip setting of 8.8 A. As a UL-listed and CSA-certified Type E self-protected combination controller, the PKZM0-0.63/SP combines overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions into a single compact device, eliminating the need for additional protective devices. It is also marked “Suitable for group installations” per NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206, allowing for cost-effective panel designs. Additionally, it may be paired with magnetic contactors to serve as a remotely operable combination controller. The PKZM0-0.63/SP is suitable for use as a Type E starter in grounded Wye power systems above 240 V.
