The Moeller PKZ2/ZMR-6/S is a self-protected manual motor starter designed for dependable motor control and overload protection. It combines the PKZ2 basic module, ZMR-6-PKZ2 overload relay (adjustable thermal range: 4–6 A), the S-PKZ2 high-capacity magnetic contactor, and the C-PKZ2 DIN rail mount. With a magnetic trip range of 50–80 A, it supports motors up to 1.5 HP at 230 V and 3 HP at 460 V. UL listed and CSA certified, this HP-rated motor controller is also approved for group installations under NEC 430-53(c) and CEC Rule 28-206. By eliminating the need for individual branch circuit overcurrent protection for each motor, the PKZ2/ZMR-6/S reduces costs, saves panel space, and simplifies compliance in industrial motor control systems.
