The Moeller PKZ2/ZMR-25/S is a heavy-duty, self-protected manual motor starter designed for reliable motor overload and short-circuit protection. This assembly combines the PKZ2 basic module, ZMR-25-PKZ2 overload relay (adjustable thermal range: 16–25 A), S-PKZ2 high-capacity contactor, and C-PKZ2 DIN rail mounting adapter. With a magnetic trip range of 200–350 A, it supports motors up to 7.5 HP at 230 V and 20 HP at 460 V. UL listed and CSA certified, this HP-rated motor controller is also approved for group installations per NEC 430-53(c) and CEC Rule 28-206. This allows multiple PKZ2 motor protectors to share a single branch circuit protective device, significantly reducing cost, wiring, and control panel space while maintaining full safety and compliance.
