The Moeller PKZ2/ZMR-2.4/S-SP is a self-protected manual motor starter that combines short-circuit and overload protection in a compact solution. This unit includes the PKZ2/S-SP base module with integrated contactor, ZMR-2.4-PKZ2 overload relay (thermal range: 1.6–2.4 A), and C-PKZ2 DIN rail mounting adapter. With a magnetic trip range of 20–35 A, it supports motors up to 1/2 HP at 230 V and 1 HP at 460 V. Certified to UL 508 and CSA 22.2 standards as a Type E combination motor controller, it eliminates the need for backup overcurrent devices. Standard features include a plug-in trip module, phase-loss differential trip, built-in auxiliary contacts, and compatibility with a wide range of accessories, ensuring reliable motor protection while reducing panel space and installation costs.
