The Moeller PKZ2/ZMR-0.6/S-SP is a self-protected manual motor starter designed for precise overload and short-circuit protection. It combines the PKZ2/S-SP base module with integrated contactor, the ZMR-0.6-PKZ2 overload relay (thermal setting range: 0.4–0.6 A), and the C-PKZ2 DIN rail mounting adapter. With a magnetic trip range of 5–8 A, this unit is UL 508 and CSA 22.2 certified as a Type E combination motor controller. It provides continuity of service under fault conditions, includes built-in auxiliary contacts, phase-loss protection, and eliminates the need for external backup overcurrent protection. Its plug-in trip module also allows safe disconnection during maintenance, making it an efficient and space-saving solution for small motor control applications.
