The Moeller PKZ2/ZM-40/S-SP is a high-capacity, self-protected manual motor starter designed for large motor applications requiring maximum protection and reliability. Certified to UL 508 and CSA 22.2 standards as a Type E combination motor controller, it features the PKZ2/S-SP base module with integrated contactor, the ZM-40-PKZ2 overload relay (adjustable thermal range: 32–40 A), and the C-PKZ2 DIN rail mounting adapter. With a magnetic trip range of 350–500 A, it supports motor ratings up to 15 HP at 230 V and 30 HP at 460 V. This starter is ideal for demanding industrial settings, providing built-in auxiliary contacts, phase-loss protection, and a plug-in trip module—all without requiring additional overcurrent protection devices.
