The Moeller PKZ2/ZM-4/S-SP is a robust self-protected manual motor starter designed for industrial motor protection. This UL 508 and CSA 22.2 certified Type E combination motor controller includes the PKZ2/S-SP base module with contactor, a ZMR-4-PKZ2 overload relay (thermal range: 2.4–4 A), and the C-PKZ2 DIN rail mounting adapter. It features an adjustable magnetic trip range of 35–55 A and supports motor ratings of up to 1 HP at 230 V and 2 HP at 460 V. With a factory-rated contactor supporting up to 30 HP at 460 V, it offers built-in phase-loss protection, integrated auxiliary contacts, and no need for backup overcurrent protection—making it a reliable, compact solution for motor control panels.
