The Moeller PKZ2/ZM-1/S-SP is a self-protected manual motor starter designed for reliable motor control and overload protection. This UL 508 and CSA 22.2 certified Type E combination motor controller includes the PKZ2/S-SP basic module with contactor, ZM-1-PKZ2 overload relay (adjustable thermal range 0.6–1 A), and C-PKZ2 DIN rail mount. With an adjustable magnetic trip range of 8–14 A, it supports up to 1/2 HP at 230V and is built for enhanced safety, featuring a plug-in trip module, phase-loss sensitivity, and built-in auxiliary contacts. Its compact design supports direct mounting and accessory integration, with no backup overcurrent protection required for full interrupting capacity.
