The Eaton/Moeller PKE-XTUA-4 is a trip block designed for motor-protective circuit-breakers in the PKE12 series. It provides an adjustable overload release range of 1–4A with a rated uninterrupted operational current of 4A. The unit supports motor ratings up to 3 kW at 690 V AC, offering reliable overload protection with integrated phase-failure sensitivity. The trip block features a fixed short-circuit release at 15×Ir with a delay of approximately 60 ms, and includes temperature compensation for enhanced reliability in varying conditions. Certified to IEC/EN 60947, UL 508, and CSA C22.2 standards, the PKE-XTUA-4 ensures compliance with global requirements. It can be connected to SmartWire-DT when used with PKE-SWD-32 or PKE-SWD-SP.
