The Eaton/Moeller PKE-SWD-32 is a SmartWire-DT communication module designed for use with PKE12/32 motor-protective circuit breakers and MSC-DEA motor-starter combinations. It enables communication and monitoring of trip blocks (PKE-XTUA-…) for motors up to 15 kW/400 V, providing integration with SmartWire-DT networks. The module mounts directly on DILM contactors (DILM7…DILM32) with 24 V DC control voltage and includes a connecting cable for linking to PKE trip blocks. It supports both manual and automatic operation with a built-in 1-0-A selector switch, selectable overload relay (ZMR) function, and provides status feedback such as switch positions, motor current, trip indications, and overload settings. Built to IEC/EN 61131-2, IEC/EN 60947, and EN 50178 standards, the PKE-SWD-32 features IP20 protection, compact dimensions (45 × 38 × 76 mm), and robust EMC compliance. Approved for UL and CSA, this module ensures seamless SmartWire-DT connectivity in motor starter assemblies.
