The Eaton/Moeller MSC-DEA-12-M12(24VDC) is a direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter designed for reliable starting and protection of three-phase motors. It combines a PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker with a DILM12 contactor, providing a compact and efficient complete device solution. The unit supports motors up to 5.5 kW at 400 V AC-3, with a rated operational current of 11.3 A and an adjustable overload release range of 3–12 A. It features a 100 kA short-circuit withstand capacity, instantaneous trip release at 168 A, and type 2 coordination. Operating on 24 V DC control voltage, the MSC-DEA-12-M12 is IE3-ready, compliant with IEC/EN 60947-4-1, and prepared for SmartWire-DT communication with an optional module. With screw terminal connections, IP20 protection, and suitability for modern energy-efficient motors, it is ideal for industrial motor control applications.
