The Eaton/Moeller MSC-DE-32-M32-SP(220V50HZ,240V60HZ) is a Type E direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter designed for North American motor control applications. It integrates a PKE32 motor-protective circuit-breaker with a DILM32 contactor and an extension terminal to provide compact motor starting with overload and short-circuit protection. This starter supports motors up to 5 HP at 200/208 V, 7.5 HP at 230/240 V, and 15 HP at 460/480 V, with a rated operational current of 32 A. The adjustable overload release range is 8–32 A, and it includes an instantaneous short-circuit release set at 448 A. With a short-circuit current rating of 18 kA at 240 V and 480Y/277 V, the device ensures dependable protection. It operates with an actuating voltage of 220 V AC (50 Hz) or 240 V AC (60 Hz), features screw-type connections, IP20 protection, and complies with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and VDE 0660. A rugged and reliable solution, it is ideal for industrial motor applications requiring a UL Type E rated starter.
