The Eaton/Moeller MSC-DE-32-M17(230V50HZ) is a direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter designed for reliable motor starting and protection. It integrates a PKE32 motor-protective circuit-breaker with a DILM17 contactor into a compact factory-assembled unit. Featuring an adjustable overload release range of 8–32A, it supports motor ratings up to 7.5 kW at 400/500V AC-3. The starter has a rated operational current of 15.2A at 400V and 12.1A at 500V, with a short-circuit withstand rating of 100kA at 380–400V. A non-delayed short-circuit release of 448A provides enhanced protection. It supports type 1 and type 2 coordination, operates with a 230V 50Hz actuating voltage, and complies with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and VDE 0660 standards. With IP20 protection and SmartWire-DT compatibility (via optional module), the MSC-DE-32-M17 is suitable for IE3 motors and ensures efficient, safe motor control.
