The Eaton/Moeller MSC-DE-12-M7(24VDC) is a compact direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter designed for reliable protection and control of small to medium-sized motors. It combines a PKE12 motor-protective circuit-breaker with a DILM7 contactor into a single pre-assembled unit, simplifying installation and wiring. With an adjustable overload setting range of 3–12A and a non-delayed short-circuit release of 168A, it supports motor ratings up to 3 kW at 400V AC-3 with a rated operational current of 6.6A. The unit operates with a 24V DC actuating voltage and provides a short-circuit withstand capacity of 100kA. Fully compliant with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and VDE 0660, the MSC-DE-12-M7 offers type 1 and type 2 coordination, IP20 protection, and IE3 motor compatibility. It is also SmartWire-DT ready with optional expansion, making it a future-proof solution for efficient motor control.
