The Eaton/Moeller MSC-DE-12-M7 is a direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter designed for motors up to 3 kW at 400/415 V AC (AC-3). It integrates a PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker and a DILM contactor into a compact starter assembly. With an adjustable overload release range of 3–12 A and a non-delayed short-circuit release at 168 A, the starter provides reliable protection. It is rated for a high short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA (fuse-protected) and features screw-type connections. Suitable for IE3 motors, the unit supports coordination type “1” and “2” protection and offers easy DIN rail mounting. Certified to IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and VDE 0660, it is a robust solution for industrial motor control applications.
