The Eaton/Moeller MSC-DE-12-M17(230V50HZ) is a direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter designed for reliable motor starting and protection. It combines a PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker with a DILM17 contactor into a compact, factory-assembled unit. With an adjustable overload release setting range of 3–12A and a rated operational current of 11.3A at 400V AC-3, it supports motor ratings up to 5.5 kW at 400/500V. The starter offers a rated short-circuit current of 100kA (380–400V) and 50kA (500V), with non-delayed short-circuit release at 168A. It provides type 1 and type 2 coordination and operates with a 230V 50Hz actuating voltage. The MSC-DE-12-M17 is IE3-ready, IP20 protected, and prepared for SmartWire-DT communication when equipped with the PKE-SWD-32 module. Fully compliant with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and VDE 0660 standards, it ensures safe and efficient motor operation.
