The Moeller AD40/5-2 is a 3-pole control panel busbar adapter designed for 20 × 5 mm copper busbar systems with 60 mm phase separation. Unlike the AD405-1, this version is intended for use with PKZ2/ZM-... and PKZ2/ZM-.../S motor protectors complete with all possible accessories. It supports a rated operational current of 40 A and includes AWG 8 supply leads for straightforward wiring. With an expanded 144 mm width, the adapter provides additional space to accommodate auxiliary devices and accessories. The rear of the adapter clips directly onto the busbar, while components mount securely on top and connect via the supply leads. Ideal for modular motor protection assemblies, the AD40/5-2 ensures safe, reliable, and compact busbar integration in industrial control panels.
