The Eaton/Moeller A-PKZ0(60VDC) Shunt Release (new Eaton part number XTPAXSR60VDC) is an accessory designed to provide remote tripping capability for motor-protective circuit breakers. Operating at 60 VDC, it is compatible with PKZM0, PKZM4, PKZM0-T, PKM0, PKZM01, and PKE breaker series. This unit mounts on the left-hand side of the breaker and uses screw terminals for straightforward wiring. With DC actuation, it requires 5 VA pull-in power and 3 VA sealing power, and functions within 0.7–1.1 × Us. It is not compatible with the U-PKZ0 undervoltage release. Certified to UL 508, CSA C22.2 No.14, IEC 60947-4-1, and CE, this shunt release ensures reliable, safe, and globally compliant operation.
