The Eaton/Moeller A-PKZ0(24VDC) Shunt Release (new Eaton part number XTPAXSR24VDC) is an accessory for motor-protective circuit breakers, enabling remote tripping through a DC-powered release coil. Designed for 24 VDC operation, it is compatible with PKZM0, PKZM4, PKZM0-T, PKM0, PKZM01, and PKE breakers. The unit mounts to the left of the breaker and uses screw terminals for simple and secure wiring. With DC actuation, it requires 5 VA pull-in power and 3 VA sealing power, operating within 0.7–1.1 × Us. It cannot be combined with the U-PKZ0 undervoltage release. Fully certified to UL 508, CSA C22.2 No.14, IEC 60947-4-1, and CE, this shunt release provides reliable performance with international compliance.
