The Moeller PKZM0-2.5 is a durable manual motor protector designed to protect motors from overload and short-circuit faults. It provides an adjustable thermal setting range of 1.6–2.5A and a magnetic trip response of 35A, ensuring accurate motor protection in line with full load current requirements. With a high short-circuit interrupting capacity of 50kA at 600V AC and compatibility with fuses or breakers rated up to 600A, the PKZM0-2.5 is suited for demanding industrial applications. UL listed and CSA certified, it is rated for motors up to 0.5 HP at 230V and 1 HP at 460V. Approved for group installations under NEC 430-53 and CEC Part 1, Rule 28-206, it reduces the need for individual protection devices, optimizing both cost and space in control panel designs.
