Pressure Switch Overview

Monitoring and protecting, switching and indicating. Float switches are actuated by fluid levels, pressure switches by a range of variably adjustable pressures.

The optional mounting position of SW float switches and MCS pressure switches means that they can be ideally used to fit every site.

The devices with IP 55 protection are enclosed in insulating material and have an impact-resistant cover. This reduces wiring costs since no protective conductor is required.

3-pole switching contacts are used for direct switching of motors. They can also be used as control switches.

• Pressure ranges can be selected up to 22 bar to match the requirements of different applications.

• Cut-out and cut-in pressures can be set separately.

• The pressure diaphragms are resistant to air, water, oxygen, and many other media.

• A relief valve ensures a no-load start for motors where small or medium-sized compressors are in use.
