Application

• The PROFIBUS-DP PS416-NET-441 slave card enables
  the connection of PS416 modular controllers to systems
  and plants with the standard PROFIBUS-DP fieldbus.

Features

• Space required: 1 slot
• Intelligent card with its own processor.
  Protocol processing does not mean any additional
  burden on the cycle time of the PS416
• Reading of slave diagnostics data through standard
  Sucosoft S40 function block
• Isolated RS 485 interface for network line
• LEDs indicate operating status
• When used as the first or last physical station on
  the PROFIBUS-DP line, the bus terminating resistors
• in the data plug must be activated
• Data transfer rate of up to 12 Mbit/s
• Up to 244 input and 244 output bytes with
  the total limited to 400 bytes
• The number of intelligent cards that can be plugged
  into the basic unit depends on the available address space.
• Up to 56 KBytes of address space are available for intelligent cards.
• The number of PS416-NET-441 cards that can be used
  also depends on the maximum current requirement
  of all the cards used in the rack.
  The certification of the PROFIBUS Users Organization (PNO)
  guarantees the conformity of PS416-NET-441 with EN 50170
  and thus interoperability with other products
• Connection of up to 124 slaves; up to 30 without repeater
  
• The certification of the PROFIBUS Users Organization (PNO)
  guarantees the conformity of PS416-NET-440 with EN 50170
  and thus interoperability with other products.
